A: The Hem-Me is a semi permanent adjustable hemming system that is very easy to apply and easy to use. It is semi because it is easy to take off and will last approximately 10 washings.
Q: Can you use The Hem-Me strips more than once?
A: No, once you apply them to the pant leg and remove them the special adhesive backing will no longer work.
A: If and when you decide you no longer want the hem strips on your garment just peel them right off. If you have a problem starting this process heat the strip up again with the iron then gently peel away. Any left over residue should come off in the next wash.
A: Of course, depending on the width of your garment edge to be hemmed, you may need a few more strips (ex. wide leg pants) or less (ex:skinny jeans). You be the judge of what will work best for you.
A: That's an easy fix. Go to your local fabric store and buy iron on hem tape and place a small amount under the spot that is lifting then iron. Be careful not too close up the holes where the hooks would go into.

Q:Would The Hem-Me work on my child's pants? Of course, they are perfect for kids that are growing and you have to change their hem often. Just make sure you remove the hooks before you wash so you don't get that awful fade line along the bottom.
